While this website is still in the test mode an access is provided to a Forum Service (or Bulletin Board Service) where a variety of topics can be discussed. When in full operation a moderator will be appointed to look after each topic category and react to members queries and suggestions. While this is by no means a replacement to traditional means of communication (suggestion book, notice board, newsletter etc) it offers a further flexibilty and speed to discussion about hands, queries about legal side of bridge laws and any other subject of general interest.
You can access the Forum via this link: http://www.reading-bridge-club.co.uk/forum/philboard.asp
You need to follow a login procedure to be able to participate in an exchange of messages. Without being logged in you can still view the messages but you are unable to reply.
Once you login you can participate in 'conversations'. Any reply to your message will be e-mailed to you. If you get stuck an on-line help is provided. In this early stage use Test area if you do not feel confident how to use the service (or if you just want to try it out).
The inappropriate messages will be cleared by administrators.
Good luck and happy messaging!
