Dealing Machine


One of the advantages of having a dealing machine is that the hands are generated by a computer.  The following PBN 1.0 test file has been generated from a duplicate played on the 1st December 1998 and has been tested on GIB V2.5.6 and PBN Viewer V1.2

Note that GIB appears to have a bug where a contract must be specified so each hand is played in 1C ! Please feel free to email any feedback on the file.

Hand Distributions

For many people used to hand shuffled deals, the perception is that computer dealt hands often appear highly distributional !   To prove that the computer hands are not that unusual, the hand shape frequencies for 1998 and 1999 (up to 17th April) are shown below:
