This page has been designed for all players whose interest goes beyond playing a duplicate in the bridge club.

Some help with various conventions and systems can be found on Systems & Conventions page.

Those interested in bridge administration can find useful hints on Directing at the Club page.

Paul Gipson has reviewed bridge 'without human face' on Online Bridge page and would welcome you in his team.

Installation of the Dealing Machine at Reading Bridge Club in 1999 has ensured a fair proportion of distributional hands. A linked article has analysed the randomness of deals. The recent hand records are provided here: Hand Records

More bridge related information can be found in Bridge Links.

Paul Gipson recommends: There is a new version of the SUITPLAY program that tells you how you should have played that suit combination. It can be downloaded from http://www.suitplay.com/ and is available free and unlicensed for personal use. It is a MS-DOS program and runs on Paul's Windows 98 with no problem (it is also fine on 2000's and XP's). Paul recommends emailing Jeroen Warmerdam (as suggested on web site) as the author will inform you about new releases.
